WELCOME TO THE 8TH GRADE!
I want to personally welcome all my new students to the 8th grade. It is an exciting year of academic growth, especially THIS year. We will be using one-to-one laptop computers in our instruction this year. This means that thanks to 21at Century Learning, each of our 8th graders will be issued a laptop for his or her personal use, much as you would be issued a textbook! This means that we will be very innovative in how assignments/projects are assigned, executed, and submitted! I can't wait.

We all come from somewhere!
Hello! My family originated in Norway several generations back. This is the Hammerstone. It tells a story. Now try to link this type of stone to one of our standards: Metric Measurement. Use the hammerstone format to tell the story of how measurement standards have changed over the last 2000 or so years. Have fun!
